The first time I’ve listened to Anika was back in 2010 when Stones Throw Records released his self-titled debut and I completely didn’t liked, it was an horrible album to be honest and i was really surprised because it was produced by Geoff Barrow of Portishead. Few days ago, almost 3 years later, after the listening of her new self-titled EP i understood that i was completely wrong about her and basically i  fell in love with her voice.

Anika EP features brand new covers of songs by The Crystals (He Hit Me), Chromatics (In The City) and Shocking Blue (Love Buzz) as well as illuminating dub versions of previous singles Yang Yang and No One’s There by Bristol producer Ratman.
